All in all, the cast aluminum will do the job for most propane gas grills for the home. Definitely buy a good cover.

Try to find a propane grill that has accessories that you might need. If you are a cook and your family likes to barbecue a lot, some of the accessories might be more negotiable while you are buying the grill than if you wait until later.

If you get a grill that is big enough, and you really like to cook, you might need some of the multi shelves. They are not of much use to cooks who just want to throw the hot dogs and hamburgers on the grill, and head back in the house to watch the football game.

The side burner can be a real asset, but you can get that with the grill. The best grills come with multi level shelves installed and one or two side burners. Most meals go better with a side meal even if it’s only baked beans. You can do it all at once instead of having to run in and out of the house.

Propane gas grills come in all sizes, styles and BTU’s with accessories or with none. The best gas grill for you depends on the use of the grill. The best grill for someone else may not be the best grill for you.
